Time machine (virtual clock)
Advance the simulated clock to make time-based GRC mechanics happen now instead of waiting real days. Everything that depends on “today” moves with it.

What moves with the clock
SLA overdue flags, risk-acceptance & policy-waiver expiry, policy-review lapse, treatment-plan milestone due dates, and the once-a-day KRI snapshot (a new point is recorded each time you land on a new day). New records you create are stamped with the virtual date.
What does not move
Backup filenames keep the real save time (so recovery points never collide). The seeded expiry demos (R2 acceptance, POL-1 waiver) are anchored to absolute dates so a data reset can't un-expire them. If you rewind, audit timestamps can read earlier than later entries — this is a teaching clock, not a rewrite of history.
